NAPROXEN TABLETS 500MG

Indications:

Naproxen tablets are a common anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving medication, belonging to the category of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.
The main component of it is naproxen. By reducing the synthesis of prostaglandins in the body, it achieves the effect of reducing inflammation and relieving pain. This medication is widely used in daily life and can effectively alleviate various mild to moderate pain problems.

Contra-indications:

The following groups are strictly prohibited from using this medication:
1. Patients with asthma, nasal polyps syndrome, or angioneurotic edema;
2. Those who are allergic to aspirin or other fever-reducing and pain-relieving drugs;
3. People with active peptic ulcers in the stomach or duodenum.

Adverse Effects:

Digestive discomfort: nausea, vomiting, abdominal distension and constipation, stomach burning sensation;
Neurological symptoms: dizziness, headache, drowsiness, buzzing in ears;
Respiratory abnormalities: shortness of breath, breathing difficulty, asthma attack;
Skin reactions: generalized itching, leg swelling;
Sensory abnormalities: blurred vision, hearing loss, mouth irritation;
Others: palpitations, sweating, diarrhea, abdominal pain.

Drug Interactions:

Using it concurrently with alcohol or other pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory drugs (such as ibuprofen) will significantly increase the risk of gastric bleeding and ulcers. Be particularly cautious of compound cold medicines containing pain-relieving ingredients.
Using it in combination with anticoagulant drugs (such as heparin, warfarin) will prolong the bleeding time and may cause abnormal bleeding or digestive tract ulcers.
It may reduce the sodium-reducing and blood-pressure-lowering effect of the diuretic furosemide, affecting the treatment effect of hypertension.

Precautions & Warning:

When the color or shape of the medicine changes, it is prohibited from use. Please store it out of reach of children to avoid the risk of accidental ingestion. During daily storage, it is necessary to keep it away from light and moisture. Do not store it in damp environments such as bathrooms or kitchens.

Use in Pregnancy and Nursing Mothers:

Pregnancy/Lactation: Prohibited for use under any circumstances.

Treatment/antidote in The Event of Overdose:

1. Immediately stop taking the medicine and contact the hospital;
2. Follow the doctor's instructions for emergency treatment. The doctor may use methods such as inducing vomiting or gastric lavage to remove the remaining medicine from the stomach;
3. According to the symptoms, take activated carbon, antacid drugs, etc. to adsorb the toxins;
4. If necessary, through intravenous fluid replacement and adjusting electrolytes, etc., provide supportive treatment to help recovery.
