ARTEMETHER LUMEFANTRINE TABLET

Indications:

It is used for the treatment of acute non-severe malaria in patients with a body weight of 5 kilograms or more caused by Plasmodium falciparum.

Contra-indications:

This product is contraindicated for those allergic to any of its ingredients.
Patients with electrolyte balance disorders (such as hypokalemia and hypomagremia) are contraindicated.
This product is contraindicated for patients who are in a coma, in shock, unable to eat, or in respiratory distress.
Patients with circulatory failure, multiple convulsions, impaired consciousness, pulmonary edema, abnormal bleeding and jaundice are contraindicated.

Adverse Effects:

Signs of allergic reactions: such as severe rashes, hives, itching, redness, swelling, blisters or skin peeling, fever, wheezing, breathing difficulties, difficulty swallowing or speaking, abnormally hoarse voice, or swelling of the mouth, face, lips or tongue.
Signs of infection: such as fever or chills, sore throat, rhinitis, oral herpes, gastroenteritis, subcutaneous abscess, dermatitis.

Drug Interactions:

Taking this product concurrently with those drugs metabolized by CYP2D6 may significantly increase the blood drug concentration of the combined medication and raise the risk of adverse reactions.

Precautions & Warning:

This product may affect the efficacy of sex hormone contraceptives. It is recommended that patients adopt other non-hormonal contraceptive methods

Use in Pregnancy and Nursing Mothers:

【 Pregnant Women 】 Contraindicated in the first three months of pregnancy. Use with caution during other periods of pregnancy.
【 Lactating Women 】 Use with caution. Breastfeeding should be suspended when medication is necessary.
