CIMITIDINE TABLET 200MG

Indications:

Cimetidine is a gastric medicine that inhibits the secretion of gastric acid. It is mainly used to treat gastric ulcer, acid reflux, heartburn and other problems, and can quickly relieve stomach pain, stomach distention and other discomfort. It can not only protect the gastric mucosa, but also regulate hormones and help enhance immunity.

Contra-indications:

Allergy to this product and any component of this product is prohibited.
Prohibited for pregnant and nursing women.

Adverse Effects:

Common adverse reactions are diarrhea, bloating, bitter or dry mouth, and some people have temporary elevated liver function indicators. In rare cases, severe hepatitis or liver damage may occur. Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding may affect the liver function of the fetus or infant.

Drug Interactions:

This product may cause respiratory depression or respiratory arrest when combined with aminoglycoside antibiotics.
The neurotoxic symptoms of this product are very similar to the adverse reactions caused by central anticholinergic drugs, so the use of both should be avoided to avoid aggravating the central nervous toxic reactions.

Precautions & Warning:

Sudden discontinuation may cause problems with high acidity, which may lead to peptic ulcer perforation. Therefore, it is necessary to continue taking medication for 3 months after completion of treatment.

Use in Pregnancy and Nursing Mothers:

Use with caution for pregnant and lactating women.
