NICARDIPINE HYDROCHLORIDE INJECTION 10MG

Indications:

Nicardipine hydrochloride injection is mainly used for the emergency control of hypertension emergencies and abnormal hypertension during surgeries.

Contra-indications:

It is contraindicated for patients with severe aortic valve stenosis and cardiogenic shock.
It is also contraindicated during the acute stage of intracranial hemorrhage or cerebral edema.

Adverse Effects:

Common reactions: Headache, facial flushing, palpitations, lower extremity edema (related to vasodilation).

Drug Interactions:

Enhanced blood pressure-lowering effect: When used in combination with diuretics, beta-blockers, and nitrate drugs, be vigilant of the potential for additive blood pressure-lowering effects.

Precautions & Warning:

Nicardipine hydrochloride injection is an effective drug for rapidly controlling hypertensive emergencies. However, it is necessary to strictly adhere to the indications and contraindications, and closely monitor vital signs during the medication period to ensure safety and efficacy.

Use in Pregnancy and Nursing Mothers:

Pregnant women and lactating women: Prohibited from use.

Treatment/antidote in The Event of Overdose:

After long-term intravenous infusion, the dosage should be gradually reduced to avoid rebound hypertension.
