HYDROCORTISONE POWDER INJECTION

Indications:

It can be used to rescue critically ill patients such as toxic infection, anaphylactic shock, severe adrenocortical hypofunction, connective tissue disease, severe bronchial asthma and other allergic diseases, and can be used to prevent and treat acute graft rejection.

Contra-indications:

Patients with severe mental illness (past or present), epilepsy, active peptic ulcer disease, recent gastrointestinal anastomosis surgery, fracture, trauma repair period, corneal ulcer, adrenal hypercorticosis, hypertension, diabetes, infections that cannot be controlled by antibiotics such as chickenpox, measles, mold infection, and severe osteoporosis are contraindicated.

Adverse Effects:

Concurrent infection was the main adverse reaction of adrenal corticosteroids. It is mainly composed of fungi, tuberculosis bacteria, staphylococcus, Proteus, pseudomonas aeruginosa and various herpes viruses.

Drug Interactions:

Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory analgesics can enhance its ulcerative effect.
It can enhance the hepatotoxicity of acetaminophen.
Combined with amphotericin B or carbonic anhydrase inhibitors, can aggravate hypokalemia, long-term combined with carbonic anhydrase inhibitors, prone to hypocalcemia and osteoporosis.

Precautions & Warning:

Interference with diagnosis:
Glucocorticoids can increase blood glucose, blood cholesterol, blood fatty acids, blood sodium levels, and decrease blood calcium and potassium levels.

Use in Pregnancy and Nursing Mothers:

Prohibited for pregnant and lactating women.

Store below 25℃. Protect from moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
